In this episode, MiiMii welcomes you to our 4th season of the Erotic Renaissance as we pick up in January of 2024. She begins with an echoing of some sentiments that she ended Season 3 with a heavy heart for the humanitarian issues happening in Gaza and across our globe.

As per her ritual, she pulls a tarot card for the collective -- meaning you -- and all of us on this Earth together sharing this lifetime. She pulls from The Curiously Carnal Tarot deck that was gifted to her by the writer and creator of the deck, Jeff Rundquist. She describes the card in deep detail before providing her reading for the 2024 year ahead.

She then moves into our themes that we will be focusing on throughout this season together and finishes with a blessing for you, her Lovely Listener.

Dear Lovely Listener,


I welcome you to Season 4 of the Erotic Renaissance  as we sit just over the threshold of 2024. I hope that you have had some peace as you entered this new year. Before we embark on this year’s adventures, I must begin by echoing some sentiments from my Season 3 finale. It feels pertinent to remind us of where we were as the New Year began. So, if you are listening in tempo with me, you know the turmoil our world is going through as humanitarian crises continue to rise. As we have seen, there are horrific acts of violence continuing to escalate. I am hearing that Americans in support of a Ceasefire are being censored on social media by the very platforms themselves. So, please know that we are discovering that while we have the Freedom of Speech in America, our demands for peace are being erased, or we are patronized by those who should be our Voice. And thus, we are finding that our government does not truly represent its People.


Furthermore, if you weren’t aware, there are many humanitarian crises happening all over our World as I write and record this letter for you. There are humanitarian crises in Democratic Republic of Congo,  South Sudan, Mayanmar, Mali, Congo, Darfur, Sudan, Ukraine, Yemen, Somalia, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Syria, Burkina Faso, and Haiti. Even now, I can imagine a small voice saying, “And what about us?” as there seems to be an uprising of voices seeking freedom, refuge, and help every day [Source | International Rescue Committee]. Today, I am sitting in a moment of gratefulness for a platform where I can call for our World leaders to demand and secure safety and freedom, as none of us can be free until all of us are safe and free. On our first new moon of 2024 [1.11.24], I hope that the World will soon experience empathetic understanding, freedom, justice, and peace that breathes and is rooted in the heart.


As we begin to get into this year’s focus themes, I want to reroot us. I usually begin my year by puling a tarot card for the collective. If you’ve never heard of the word “collective,” the essence of what I mean is that it is for you. And truly, I also mean for all of us as human beings sharing this lifetime on Earth at this very moment.


As I am writing this New Year letter for you, I am sitting in my new Home. I have lit a candle that I have carved in your honor. I have anointed my crown and tresses with heavy drops of eucalyptus oil, anointing our candle for the year ahead together. I [breathe] breathed in and set an intention to pull a card for you.  Before me, I lay my hands on my new tarot deck that was gifted to me by Jeff Rundquist, thecrafter and  writer of Curiously Carnal Tarot, a deck that celebrates the carnality of sex and the human anatomy through illustrations by Sandra Griffin. The deck features psychedelic and tantric illustrations on the back of each card. I breathe in again and feel the coolness of the cards before me as I walk my hands over them, sensing what card seeks to be seen. I feel tingling throughout my body as I reach a single card and separate it from the others. Instead of telling you the card right away, I would love to describe it deeply to you first. You may wish to close your eyes and imagine we are entering a scene. Let’s start in the centered character in the scene. She is brunette and sits in a relaxed but empowered pose on a plush, white throne resting on a dais – of two steps. She wears long, knee-high boots and a harness that encircles her breasts in a pentagram, highlighting her round nipples. Beside her, on each side, is a large vessel with symbols that resemble ancient inscriptions. Behind her, is an open window where a pyramid stands erect. Three round disks, or pentacles, align with the capstone of the pyramid. Within each pentacle is a symbol of capricorn, associated with Mars energy, and ambition, and resiliency.


As we glimpse this woman on her throne, one hand rests behind her head as she lounges, and we see her other hand peeks beyond her black latex-clad legs. Around her relaxed wrist is a blue cord that leads onto the rose-colored floor, past heavy, drawn-back curtains to the foreground of the scene, exactly where we are standing. The blue cord winds into two ends; each end binds the ankles of two strong males. They kneel upon the floor before the woman and face the voyeur. Their muscles are heavily defined, and their cocks hang between their strong thighs as each man bows his head as if they are presented to you in this scene. 


This card is the Three of Pentacles. It symbolizes unity and collaboration towards a common goal or shared purpose. The original artwork of the Rider-Waite Tarot features three different tradesmen who work together to build a place of worship. Although each has different skills from differing trades, they share a common purpose that unifies them. While the art in Curiously Carnal Tarot features an erotic scene, the concept of alignment of the mind, heart, and action is also demonstrated here as we witness a scene of worship before us. The house - or Sensual Sanctuary - has been built and the three characters are in alignment of a shared purpose of devotion to the divine feminine, or described by Rundquist, a Dominatrix. 


The meaning I glean from this particular scene for this year is one of building and learning. We are reminded to carry a learner’s heart, for none of us has all the knowledge alone. It requires listening and laying down power to learn from those not often in positions of power, as symbolized by the Domme sitting in her throne. And please, remember to not write off those two males in a submissive position before us, for they are choosing to relinquish or submit their power for an opportunity to serve and learn in this captured moment. –And to have choice is to have power, thus, they are not truly powerless. Please notice that the Domme is not struggling to hold them back, nor is she striking them, branding them, or forcing them in any way. No, a powerful Domme doesn’t need force. She is instead, relaxed, as she knows that the two individuals before her have choice and have chosen to be here in this moment, kneeling as we enter her Sensual Sanctuary. 


I also usually peek at the bottom of the deck for additional meaning, and beneath our deck for this year was The Devil card. Thus, here is what I see for the 2024 year ahead. If you are someone who has been seeking truth or clarity, it shall be laid before your feet this year. If you are someone who avoids truth or transparency, you are being guided to reflect on why it is that you avoid truth or turn towards a negative pattern you can’t shake. By releasing this negative pattern, you’ll be enlightened in a new way this year and may experience more of what it is that you desire or have been seeking in the past. Allow yourself to sit in the pleasure of surrendering to feminine energy, whether that be the feminine energy within you or externally – or perhaps, both. There is always a benefit to learning from someone with different skills, knowledge, and experiences, especially if you have a shared goal or purpose. You deserve the rewards that come with collaboration and not doing everything yourself. While you can certainly build something beautiful by yourself, you can build it more effectively and more joyfully if you have assembled the right tribe. And this is what 2024 seems to promise. A year of building and assembling the right tribe to design and craft whatever it is that you desire to create in this world we share. The reward is a sacred space, whether that be a physical space, one that houses your passions, or one that might exist emotionally in a relationship or psychologically within self. The aim is one [a space] in which you can enjoy, take pleasure, experience fully, feel a sense of belonging, and worship or honor the parts of existence that you treasure. Consider the happiness you could create not only for yourself but for others that you take on as your thriving tribe towards triumph and the lives you could impact and nurture, just from taking action from your inspiring thoughts.


Now that we have seen our card for the year, I would love to go over what themes we will be focusing on this season of the Erotic Renaissance. This season, we have four themes that we are going to explore together. You’ll notice in my play parties and other events, we are exploring “Time” as we time travel together this year. If you would like to get to know me, I host virtual and in-person events and perform in San Diego, Las Vegas, and New York City. So you can expect songs, and events, and even episodes of The Erotic Renaissance to offer some way to help us reorient ourselves with “Time.” We are going to be exploring the theme of “Power” this year as well and some related kinks, as I share more erotic stories, provide educational spaces, and craft sensual sanctuaries for you to empower yourself.  As we dip into some introspective topics, we will be covering “Jealousy” and its potential antidotes in hopes of equipping you for your existing, fledgling, or impending relationships. And finally, we will be discussing sexual assault, as it is always important to remember how to empower ourselves without harming others. I see 2024 as a year of healing the divine masculine within us all. Whether you carry that energy in abundance or only in particular parts of your identity.
